Please ensure to check the details of your current contract before making any switch. Only take up the offer if you are happy to take up any cost you may incur, as it may be more than the value of your gift card.
As with all price comparison Services, Which? receives commission if a consumer switches broadband provider using our comparison service. For this promotion, we are using a proportion of this commission to fund the Amazon gift card. The balance of the commission helps fund our mission to continue as the UK’s consumer champion.
We are offering a gift card to any member who makes use of our service, regardless of who they switch to. Although those who switch to Zen will get a larger gift card, as we already recommend Zen to consumers by way of them being a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP). Indeed, based on our most recent research, Zen is currently the only WRP broadband provider.
We are offering £25 irrespective of the provider to whom members switch. Zen is already recognised as a Which? Recommended Provider and they are funding the additional £75 for the total £100 gift card for switching to them.
Which? is entirely independent and impartial in our views and we will never be influenced by any third party. We have been critical of Amazon in certain contexts but we are also realistic in recognising that Amazon is extremely popular with consumers. The very fact that we recognise their popularity but will also continue to call them out on certain things, if appropriate, demonstrates a balanced and independent approach.
Our aim with the Compare service and with our broadband provider reviews is to support informed decision making. We want consumers to have as much information available to them as possible before choosing to go with a provider. At the end of the day, it's still the consumer's choice that comes first and foremost.
As such, we want to incentivise making an informed decision on your provider, even if this means choosing one not as highly rated as another.
Our gift card amounts are only based on our most recent research, and the gift card period will end before our next results on broadband are published. We are only able to go on our most recent research, and as such can't make any predictions for the future. Any changes to WRP's in the future, or any scores of broadband providers, will not affect this offer period.
